A food plant chasing an obsolete sprocket, an irrigation outfit with a cracked pivot pin in July, and a repair shop needing two of something: these are different problems. What they share: each deserves comparable quotes from capable local shops, without a week of phone calls. The examples below are representative of the work we quote, not a portfolio of past jobs. 01 · Plant maintenance
When the OEM part is gone or slow
Food processing, agri-processing, feed mills: the part that stops your line is rarely exotic. It's a shaft, a sprocket, a roller, a guard, and the OEM either discontinued it or wants weeks to ship it. Most of these parts can be made locally, from your drawing or from the worn part itself.
No drawing? Send the existing or damaged part. Shops can measure and reverse-engineer many components from the physical article, though not everything can be reconstructed from a photograph alone, which is exactly the kind of thing screening sorts out before anyone quotes. Dimensions and fit are matched to what you supply; where a part needs engineering approval or certification, that has to come from your side or an appropriate path confirmed first.

02 · Agriculture & irrigation
Breakdowns don't wait for the off-season
Pivots, pumps, and field equipment fail in-season, when every day matters and the dealer's parts counter says “on backorder.” Many of the parts involved (pins, shafts, brackets, mounts) are machinable locally, and short runs of replacements can be quoted alongside the one you need now.
We can't promise immediate production; no honest broker can. What we can do is compress the quoting: your request screened and in front of matched shops fast, quotes normally back within 2 to 3 business days, and pickup available where a shop is close enough that driving beats waiting on a truck. Jobs like these often fall below the radar of large sourcing platforms and big-shop minimums, not because anyone did anything wrong, but because small quantities carry real setup cost and take the same effort to quote as large ones. The result: your small job waits.
Lantrova was set up to handle exactly this scale. We screen the job so it arrives at the shop fully defined, which is what makes a small quantity worth a shop's time, and worth a real price instead of a brush-off number. Setup charges are shown for what they are in normalized quotes, so you can see how quantity affects unit price before you order.
