Lantrova is a new company, and this page won't pretend otherwise. What follows is a straight account of why it exists, how it intends to operate, and how to reach the people behind it.

A letter, not a corporate history

Lantrova was founded in Lethbridge, Alberta, in 2026. No decades of history, no wall of client logos, and no interest in faking either. If you want to judge us, judge us on how we run your first job.

Here's the problem the company was built around. A maintenance manager has a seized part and a stopped line, then spends two days in phone tag with shops that may or may not have capacity. The RFQ that finally goes out is incomplete (not through carelessness, but because nobody said what a shop needs to price the job), so it comes back as a guess, padded for safety. The one quote that arrives gets taken, because getting a second one means starting over. Meanwhile the OEM's three-week lead time hasn't moved, and the downtime is still running.

None of that is anyone's fault. Shops are busy making parts; quoting vague requests is a cost they rightly avoid. Buyers are busy running plants; sourcing is a sideline they do under pressure. The work in the middle (screening the job, matching it to the right shop, making quotes comparable, managing the order, checking the part against the spec) is a real job that mostly goes undone. Lantrova exists to do that job.

We started in the Calgary–Lethbridge–Medicine Hat corridor, where capable machine shops sit within a morning's drive of the plants, mills, and ag operations that need them. We're now extending that capability-screened network across North America. Capacity was never the thing missing. Organized access was: one contact, complete information going out, comparable numbers coming back, and someone accountable for the job until it's on your dock.

Operating standards

How we intend to operate

Working standards we hold ourselves to, stated as intentions, not guarantees, because shop responses and incomplete information genuinely affect outcomes.

  1. Normally return 2 to 3 comparable quotes within 2 to 3 business days of a request we can screen properly.
  2. Give straight answers, including “Lantrova isn't the right route for this job.”
  3. Document the assumptions behind every quote, so surprises don't arrive with the invoice.
  4. Track every accepted job and flag changes or delays as soon as we know about them.
  5. Check finished parts for conformance against the specification supplied, and document the check.
  6. Refuse or pause any job that can't be screened responsibly.
